Hey, I’m Jess! Photographer, painter, and creative heart behind J Vod Creative.​ Art has always been part of my life—from winning drawing and coloring contests as a kid to being voted “Most Artistic” in my high school yearbook and completing my bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts at Viterbo University. During high school and college, I worked at my uncle’s Old Time Portraits studio, where I discovered my love for costumed photography. From there, I began organizing creative shoots with friends—first with vintage looks, then expanding into concept and cosplay photography. Those sessions became the ones I looked forward to most, and they still inspire the work I do today, with my fine art and fantasy photo sessions. As my photography business grew, I also started to get requests to host painting parties because of my art background. I realized I didn’t have to choose between photography and painting. I could combine both to give local community members fun and memorable creative experiences right in their backyard. My style is bold, creative, and story-driven, and my vibe is easygoing and down-to-earth (with the occasional dad joke—apologies in advance...)
